Also known as the "national drink of Slovenia", made only in the Dolenjska region, Cviček is a unique, traditional wine of controlled origin and composition. Only four local red (Blauer Koelner, Blaufrankisch, Portugiezer and St. Laurent) and five local white varieties (Kraljevina, Welschriesling, Yellow Plavec, Gruner Veltliner and Stajerska Belina) are allowed in Cviček and all are often used in some proportion.

The result is a juicy, fresh, rustic wine with tons of herby garrigues and tart cranberry and fruits-du-bois on an effortless palate that finishes quite refreshingly. Low in RS and alcohol, this is a wine that works well with brunch, lunch and dinner, but especially well as a festive, crowd pleasing addition to any social hour.  Enjoy well chilled.
