Ruby color with a slight purple tinge. Smells of roasted chestnuts on the nose, then mulberry and blackberry. Lots of sweet fruit at first, then grippy, gripping tannin, but also lots of acidity. Beautiful dark fruit that allow this wine to pair amazingly with any savory dish.
